AAP ERS Extends Service Nationwide With Ibero Asistencia Partnership
More AAP members throughout the country can now experience worry-free driving as Ibero Asistencia teams up with the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) to provide convenient and reliable 24/7 Emergency Roadside Service (ERS).
Effective June 1, 2019, AAP’s partnership agreement with the Mapfre-affiliated company expanded AAP’s reach to provinces previously unable to avail of free towing services, changing of flat tires, battery boosting, fuel provision, and simple mechanical repairs through the AAP ERS.
By simply contacting the AAP ERS hotlines (02) 723-0808 or 0917-812-6000 or 0918-812-6000, members can claim their free towing privileges even when outside Metro Manila.
AAP members are entitled to a certain number of interventions or specific kilometer tow distance depending on the type of membership:
• Regular AAP Members are entitled to four interventions or 100-kilometer tow distance
• Motor Sport AAP Members are entitled to four interventions or 100-kilometer tow distance
• Associate AAP Members are entitled to three interventions or 60-kilometer tow distance
• Corporate AAP Members are entitled to two interventions or 40-kilometer tow distance
The AAP-Ibero ERS service can be availed of in all the regions except for Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, North Cotabato, South Cotabato, Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Basilan, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Compostela Valley, Catanduanes, Masbate, Saranggani, Batanes, Romblon, Marinduque, Guimaras and Camiguin.
Officially inked last May 8, 2019, present at the contract signing at the AAP Tower were AAP President Gus Lagman, Vice President Johnny, Finance Committee Chairperson Joe Ferreria, Chief Operating Officer Mark Desales, and Ibero Asistencia General Manager Antonio Toledano.
