What Personal Information Do We Collect
We may collect the following types of personal information: Full Name, Age, Contact Number, Email, Address and/or AAP Member’s Pin Code (if you are a member of the Automobile Association Philippines).
Purpose of Personal Information
We collect, use, and store your personal information for the following purposes:
1. To process and confirm your travel reservations.
2. To respond to your inquiries, provide assistance, and resolve issues.
3. To send promotional offers, updates, and travel-related information. You can opt out any time.
4. To analyze user behavior, optimize our website and develop new features and services.
5. To monitor compliance with registration requirements as mandated under R.A. 10173 also known as “Data Privacy Act of 2012” and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, as well as Circular 2016-01.
Security of Your Personal Information
AAP Travel practices the necessary technical, organizational, and physical measures to make sure that the details and information you provided us are protected and secured.
Only authorized AAP Travel employees have access to this personal information, the exchange of which will be facilitated through email and hard copy. They will be stored in a database for five years after which physical records shall be disposed of through shredding while digital files shall be anonymized.

Withdrawal of ConsentIf you do not wish to use or disclose any of the Personal Information that you have shared with us, you may withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email or written notice to firstname.lastname@example.org.
However, depending on the circumstances and the nature or extent of your withdrawal, the withdrawal of your consent may result in us not being able to provide services to you, and such request may be considered a termination, provided that some certain personal information might constitute termination and our legal rights and remedies by in such event are expressly reserve.
Deletion Request ProcessIf you wish to delete some of your personal information given to us through our Mobile Application and Web-based Application, please email us at email@example.com with a subject heading of RE: REQUESTING TO DELETE SOME PERSONAL INFORMATION. Upon receiving your email, our Data Protection Officer would communicate with you to verify the user’s request and to ask some questions, as some information deleted in our database can constitute the withdrawal of our services to you. If you are an authorized agent submitting a request on a user’s behalf (where permitted), we may require proof of your written authorization with a valid ID to confirm identity before processing the request. Depending on the applicable law, you may have the right to appeal our decision to deny your request. Access, Deletion and Correction of DataWe give you the freedom to edit and delete some of your information in the Mobile Application and Web-based Application.
Database RecordHere in AAP Travel, we have a 5 years deletion rule in which we retain the information of our database backups for 5 years upon which they are completely deleted from our system.
